My wife is fantastic...

Not only she made a brand new trailer for our current project : the Solomon's Thieves trilogy,

I've also been offered to do a piece for a fundraiser based on the Katamari Damacy video game.

I had never heard of it before. I checked some youtube videos since then to get a sense of what the hell that thing was. It kind of helped but not really. I ended with an image I like but which might completely wrong for the game...Anyway it was still a lot of fun to do. I'll wait until the show opens (sept 2nd) before posting it here...

The whole event is organized by the Portland based comic books shop Floating World Comics which seems great from where I stand. Lots of cool events.

Ha ! I just finished a piece for the moonshine book show at the Gallery Nucleus in LA. I don't know when the book comes out but the show opens on august 14th. Here is the rough sketch/thumbnail I did for the final which is also in B&W and done with ink on paper (no computer there...)

It feels great to finish something in the middle of the baby craze.
